Student Post - Reflection

To start my reflection post, I just want to acknowledge Mr. Davis's reflection post. Working together over the semester with meetings for the Flash Mob Video, has really made us all good buddies. Another point in his reflection I would like to comment on, is how astonished I am at how the World Wide Web works and how businesses are using the advanced technology today.

This Web Marketing course was very beneficial to my learning of the modern day marketing world. Before this class, I was looking at the traditional marketing terminology, strategies, and ways to achieve common marketing goals. After attending classes and completing numerous assignments in this course, I feel as if my mind has been opened up.

The assignment that was helpful to myself, and to other classmates is the blog posts. I learned a lot just by reading fellow classmates' blogs, and commenting on them. Everyone had a chance to research a topic, and all students had a chance to read it and comment. I feel it was very beneficial to everyone's learning. I know that for me personally, I learned a great deal about the World Wide Web, tools used by businesses, and popular programs on the internet that are very interactive.

Another assignment that I found to teach me a lot was the Flash Mob Marketing video. It was a challenge to get 6 males, all who have busy college schedules together to meet about this project, and to execute it properly. It took a lot of strategic planning. We had to gather supplies, talk to security, plan who will be doing what in the video, etc. Everyone had to chip in to get this done. At first, it seemed challenging and hard to keep organized  As we got closer to it, it all came together and we all worked hard to ensure this video was ready to be executed. I also learned that the more you work together, the more you become good buddies. When you're good buddies, you work a lot better together. I believe that's what happened with the Sunnyvale Boys group.

In conclusion, I would like to offer a sincere thank you to Christina for all you have taught myself and our class. I think I speak for everyone when I say that this class has opened my mind in terms of the World Wide Web. I have gained much knowledge, and this knowledge will serve us down the path of becoming successful marketers.

Thank you,
Tyler Meinzinger
